Round Red Vase

This plump little vase is wreathed with flowers that blend in color from blue to lavender. The background is a rich cinnabar red. The blooms are created from thin sheets of clay, drawn and cut out by hand, then attached as appliques to the vase form. Blended colors of glaze are carefully applied to each individual flower.
