Jar with Grasses

Wheel thrown stoneware lidded jar with poppy red glaze over the fossil-like impression of grasses. Black glaze trim and on inside, with red-iron oxide wash over the intricate churchkey pattern at shoulder, base, and on lid. Functional and watertight, but is not intended for food items.
