Naked Raku Vessel in Blue
Ceramic Vessel
Created by
Frank Nemick
The distinctive patterning indicative of naked raku firing covers this wheel-thrown stoneware vessel, detailed with a bold glazed stripe. Layers of hand-polished terra sigillata are applied to the exterior, giving the piece a soft, satiny sheen.
No waxes or lacquers are applied to the surface, so it should be handled carefully to avoid staining. Decorative use only; not suitable for use with liquids.
