Powerful reds and cratered golds dominate this original luster painting. The techniques used to create this piece date back to the 13th Century, where lustered golds were valued by Persian Caliphs as being equal to gold itself. This work has undergone complex series of glazing and reduction firings to create its vibrant color and luminous depth. It is adhered to rigid board and has a simple interlocking brace system to easily hang on any wall. This work is impervious to strong sunlight.
