Ceramic Wall Sculpture
Created by Daniel Slack
Cubist inspired but with triangles instead, this piece is made by pressing a slab of stoneware clay into a plaster mold. The artist made the press mold off of the original and when the new pieces are released from the mold they require only minor touching up before they can go through the firing and glazing process. Mounting stubs built in and picture hanging wire included. The crystalline matte glaze requires an occasional dusting to keep the microcrystals sparkling.
