In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's glorious Phipps Conservatory sits a beautiful flowering Ball Cactus (Parodia Magnifica) originating in Brazil. At the end of the 80s the IOS (International Organization of Succulent plant studies) worked on a reorganization of the genus of the Cactus family. A by-product of this was the inclusion of the Notocactus in the genus Parodia.
