Palouse Wheat

Color Photograph

Created by Terry Thompson
Limited Edition
The rolling hills of the Palouse Prairie in southeastern Washington State is thought to be the second largest naturally irrigated wheat-growing region in the world. The yellow sections of canola make for a vivid contrast with the green wheat. Thompson captured this iconic agricultural image on medium format film, created a high-resolution scan and printed it on a double-weight archival cotton rag paper with pigment inks. This image is in a limited edition of 25 with only 22 prints remaining. It is titled, numbered, and signed below the image.
