Jessie Cafe Table

Concrete & Art Glass Cafe Table

Created by Terence S. Dubreuil
Rich with color and texture, this cafe table is created from steel-reinforced concrete, wood, and cast glass. The concrete is formed over welded steel armatures to give the table its shape. The artist then sets small stones, beach glass, and handmade marbles into the surface, adding intriguing detail throughout. The tabletop is set with 5"sq cast glass tiles in shades of blue and green, reflecting color and light on the surface below.

Concrete is mixed with a 50% acrylic additive to improve its resistance to weather and staining. Once it is cast and pressure washed, the concrete is cured for up to 14 days. Glass tiles are secured by fitted rubber gaskets, which relieve stress between the materials to ensure a long-lasting work of art. Gaskets are invisible from the top. The artist's studio name, "Paradox Art," is embossed into the concrete.

Suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Top and base are shipped unconnected; assembly instructions included. Top weighs 140 lbs; base weighs 60 lbs.
