This impressionistic Swimmer piece is from Harding's Water Series, which deals with the visual distortions created by reflections and refractions in water. It is a richly textured fiber wall piece made in a collage-layered, reverse applique technique of iridescent, lustrous, hand-loomed Indian silks on a two-ply cotton duck backing. Signed on reverse at bottom.
