"The Golden Hour" refers to the time of the day just before the sunset, when the sun fills the air with the ethereal golden glow. The colors of late summer garden are rich and intense, brightening the world one last time before fading and slipping off into the darkness. Hand-dyed and hand-painted cotton and silk fabrics, acrylic paints, including some golden metallic. Hanging sleeves are sewn to the back of the quilt along the top and bottom sides. Included are hanging wooden slats coated with clear polyurethane.
