Rising Moon IV

Another piece in a series of nightscapes lit by a moonlight study. Delicate flora and fauna elements were drawn on hand-dyed cotton batik fabric, sprayed with metallic silver fabric paint, appliqued, embroidered, and quilted. Accentuated with metallic gold and silver fabric paint. Wrapped over wooden stretcher bars coated with clear polyurethane (for preservation purposes), wiring added to the back, ready to hang.
