Turning Leaves l

"Turning Leaves l" combines painted silk with digital prints on silk. Painted silk segments were hand-painted with transparent watercolor. Printed sections were cropped from one of Brown's originals (watercolor paintings or photographs), then transferred to silk. Each step is unique and completed by the artist resulting in a totally original fiber art wall hanging. Brown's work is known for its subtle color and strong design. Display by hanging from a rod inserted into the sleeve sewn on the back of the piece. Can also be mounted or framed.
