This work is a full size canvas giclee print of an original piece that was a combination of drawing, painting, and sculpting. The artist used acrylics on paper that was individually cut and shaped for a modern and abstract style of collage work. The paper was stretched and then textured with medium body acrylics. Each piece was hand cut and glued with wheat paste. The paper was then glued with wheat paste that's been pressed through a horsehair strainer so that the finished artwork is free of lumps and the effect is smooth and refined. This technique of paper stretching is traditionally used to restore antique shoji screens and scrolls. The wood panels are painted on the sides and comes with white floater frame.
