Judy Bliss

"Startling combinations of colors, textures, stones and shapes are what I do. I have a flair for asymmetry and am recognized for producing designs that are edgy and always contemporary, yet sophisticated."

Judy Bliss designs her work to showcase women of all ages. While contemporary in style, her pieces transcend time. Influenced by her formal training in the enduring art of sculpture and her long-time fascination with fashion and style, it is important to Judy that her jewelry is as relevant to her clients' wardrobes years from now as it is today.

The semi-precious stones and pearls utilized by the artist are hand-selected for their color, shape and luster. Each piece is carefully laid out and assembled with a meticulous eye to detail regarding how the stones and components balance each other and how the finished design shows on the human form. Pieces can also be custom tailored.

Judy Bliss graduated from the University of Oregon with a BFA in sculpture and worked as a graphic artist. While in school, semi-abstract nude figures in bronze were her chosen forms, but she also developed an interest in multi-dimensional weaving. Her eye for texture, color and form led her to begin experimenting with jewelry and subsequently developing and selling her own line.
