VIVA! Bowl

The texture of Madacsi's work is developed by forging steel at temperatures of up to 2400 degrees. The pieces are welded and then painted with aerosol enamels. The surface is worked to bring back the visual properties of the steel. She then carefully applies 23 karat gold leaf, accentuating individual pieces and intensifying the boldness of the vessel. This design is part of Madacsi's new VIVA! series.
