Fern Spirals Candle Stands

Metal Candleholder

(ID: A83942)
Created by Evy Rogers
Place the candle stands just right and the two will become one. The candle stands express a sentiment. Each candle stand has a different pattern. When the two different patterns come together, they become one. This pattern incorporates nature and geometric shapes into the modern design.

The candle stands are made of acid etched aluminum. The artwork is applied to the metal with a special paint that is acid resistant. The artwork is submerged in acid. The acid eats into the unprotected surface. The background is removed and the artwork is now raised in high relief. The candle stands are hand buffed to a beautiful jewelery finish and signed by the artist.

The candle stands will not tarnish and need no polishing.

Comments about Fern Spirals Candle Stands:

This pair of candlesticks, besides being beautifully crafted, has a symbolically significant dimension with the way they fit together to make a "whole." I can see how they would be a special gift for a wedding couple. In my home, they have been placed in an altar space as a metaphysical statement. Joy to the artist-pair who worked together to create this joyful artwork.
