Brown County Frost

"Brown County Frost" combines painted fabrics, paper, and with digital prints from the artist's photos. Segments were hand-painted with transparent watercolor. Printed sections were cropped from Brown's original photograph, then transferred to a painted canvas substrate. Each step is unique and completed by the artist resulting in a totally original fiber art wall hanging. Brown's work is known for its subtle color and strong design. Display by hanging from a rod inserted into tabs sewn on the back of the piece. These can be easily removed. The piece can also be mounted or framed by the purchaser.
