March Winds

"March Winds" is a gourd which has been cut, cleaned, and painted with an acrylic paint which contains mica to provide luminescence. The pine needles are attached to the gourd by stitching into the holes drilled into the gourd. Small split leaf philodendron sheaths have been stitched in to personify a windy day. The floating coils are not entirely connected to the previous coils.
