Mixed-Media Wall Sculpture
Created by Buffington Bremer Studio
Steampunk meets high fashion in this wall-mounted creation inspired by the ancient, alien-like petroglyphs from Sego Canyon, Utah. The head is an electronic tube from a battery tester invented by Nikola Tesla. The body pattern is made from typewriter striker arms embedded in white ceramic clay. The upper torso is covered with embroidered beads and trinkets. The shoulders are clad in copper and feature small test tubes.
