Lido Beach Sunset 12o10
The painting has been done on traditionally prepared Belgian linen: glue-sized, lead-primed, and then given a light wash of Venetian red and brown a number red dark number mixed with turpentine. The oil paints used are some of the finest that can be purchased, a combination of Old Holland and Michael Hanely. The painting will arrive with a coat of damar varnish to protect it from solids in the air that might be deposited on it.
It should be professionally framed to brace and protect it, as well as to enhance its beauty. As with all artwork, this piece should not be hung in direct sunlight. The frame and surface can be dusted lightly with a soft feather duster. Signed "VERSO".
The giclee of the original painting is printed on archival paper with archival inks. Limited edition of 250. There is a 2'' border on each side of the print. Dimensions refer to image size.
