Scout the River Guard

Scout the River Guard is an original oil painting on gallery-wrapped canvas with painted sides. Artist-signed on the lower front. The subject-matter for Lambert's paintings come from her own photos. She takes most of her photos while walking Scout, her almost-constant companion. He started insinuating himself into her photos, so she decided to paint a Scout series. In River Guard, Scout and Lambert were walking in the Los Angeles river below the 6th Street Bridge in downtown LA. That historic, but crumbling, bridge has since been torn down and a new bridge is in the works. They will be there taking a walk when the new bridge is completed.
