Streams and Rivers

Streams and Rivers is a pulp painting that has some small sections of rope embedded in it for low relief. Davies used many small paper shapes over a background of light blue to suggest the activity of swirling water. She has long been fascinated with simultaneously seeing the bottom and the top layer of water all shifting to form new images every moment. Davies has done many watercolors of that idea and now seeks to translate the water quality using paper pulp. Shipped ready to frame.
