Donna D'Aquino

"My work is based in line and the act of drawing."

Originally trained in graphic design, Donna D'Aquino is interested in the bare essentials of design, simplicity, and elegance. Her work is inspired by interior and exterior skeletal structures found in architecture. It is hand fabricated using a variety of different metals that include steel, sterling silver, and brass. She sometimes incorporates powder coating to lend a touch of color to the strong lines of her jewelry.

D'Aquino was born in the Hudson Valley region of New York. She received her BS in design from the State University College of New York at Buffalo in 1989, and her MFA from Kent State University in 1999.
