Threadwork Scarf 786
One of a Kind
Each of the artist's one of a kind scarves begins with choosing yarn based on the color, texture, and fiber content. She carefully layers the yarns and sandwiches between pieces of a soluble film. Using a simple sewing machine, she uses free motion stitching to create the scarf. She moves the piece under the needle freehand in small interlocking circles. Once finished, the film washes out and leaves the elegant and unique scarf. Hand wash, air dry, low iron with cloth. Vivid spring greens, a bit of merino wool.
