"Since 1999, all of our pieces have been designed and created from hand-fabricated originals made by artists Sandra Bonazoli and Jim Dowd. Our metalwork is handmade in the USA from high-quality materials.

Beehive Handmade's intent is to bridge the gap between traditional craft and contemporary design by making accessible objects that are both heirloom-quality and useful in daily life.
Each of the artists' designs starts as a hand-fabricated model constructed at the jeweler's bench using traditional metalsmithing tools and techniques. This original model is then molded and cast.
Both Sandra Bonazoli and Jim Dowd have an MFA in jewelry and metalsmithing.
