Westwind Desk Chair
Created by Richard Laufer
While useful to anyone who works at a desk, this swivel chair employs creative curves and angles to make it extraordinary. It features eight progressively sized spindles that form a single back curve, gently tapered arms, and a sculpted crest inspired by the turning weather vane on the artist's barn. This unusual crest is one piece of wood, cut and rejoined at angles with cherry splines to form a swooping upward curve. Shown in cherry with cherry spindles.
