Diurnal Currents is a clock designed to stand on a shelf, a mantle, or a table. The barrel-shaped clock houses a quartz movement and is made from solid maple and mahogany with a maple and mahogany-veneered face. It rides on a sculptural waveform hand carved from basswood. The base is coated with black milk paint, then the clock is finished with hand-applied polyurethane. A battery is included but not installed. Instructions will be included for installing the battery and setting the time.
