This maple credenza is ornamented with a pattern done in the art of parquetry using maple and ribbon mahogany. Mostly known to be used in flooring, there is also a tradition of using parquetry in fine furniture. The pattern on this piece was inspired by the repeating patterns used in Moroccan architecture.
To preserve the clean lines, the doors on this cabinet have no pulls. Instead they operate on touch latches. There is an adjustable shelf.
