One of a Kind
Artist Hilary Pfeifer is known for her cute critters, but she also loves to work with sculptural combinations of her simple abstract forms. This piece, made from multiple woods, is an example of a body of work she calls 'Weather Patterns' - an intersection of humans and nature. Pfeifer creates less than two dozen completely unique sculptures in this body of work on an annual basis.
Named for the pear wood used for the base, this modern, one-of-a-kind sculpture combines shapes made from black walnut, birch, and maple and sealed with a clear protective coating. Signed on the bottom.
