Lovebirds - Blue and Yellow

Wood Wall Sculpture

(ID: A27591)
Created by Elizabeth Frank
This happy couple is part of a series of hinged figures that celebrate the union of two souls. They might be siblings, lovers, friends or even pets! The "Union" pairs are great gifts for valentines, weddings or anniversaries.

This piece is eco friendly, made with found and reclaimed materials. Each pair is carved from fallen aspen wood and connected with a vintage/antique hinge. they are painted with acrylic. The wood is coated with a light layer of wax to protect and seal the surface. There are two hooks on the back for hanging.

Each work is made with a unique vintage hinge. The body colors, shapes and sizes vary depending on hinge style

Comments about Lovebirds - Blue and Yellow:

I bought "Lovebirds" as a wedding gift for my good friend's daughter's wedding. I wanted to gift them with something that not only fit into their lifestyle but would also represent mine. It does both perfectly.
