Wood Wall Sculpture
Created by Ken Edwards
The blade came off of a very large saw used to cut huge logs into lumber for home construction. The original length was over 18', and the artist felt an iconic presence with it in his shop before he began to cut individual lengths to use for his projects. Found object, poplar, and acrylic. The handle was cut on the bandsaw, bored out and shaped by hand. Acrylic paint and ink went into finishing it.
