Beyond Threads
"Beyond Threads began as a childhood dream in Peru with my closest friend, Alejandra. We designed clothing for our dolls and watched in wonder as our moms and aunties used their knitting and sewing artistry to bring them to life. Our passions were cultivated by Peru’s rich history in textile arts and bountiful natural fibers culminating in us designing our first eleven Alpaca sweaters in 1992."

Established in 1992 by Cristina Dioguardi, Beyond Threads is a celebration of her home country of Peru. From Alpacas in the Andes Highlands to Pima Cotton of the Northern Coast, each garment is born of the stunning Peruvian landscape. Working only with artisans and ethical manufacturers in Peru continues the country’s legacy of textile art and reinforces Beyond Thread’s commitment to sustainability and fair-trade practices.
Beyond Thread’s style ideology is rooted in stewardship to the land and people. Every piece is created to stand the test of time and trends. With proper care Beyond Thread’s pieces will last years.
