Windswimmer copper fish mobiles are mesmerizing to watch. The slightest breeze sets them in motion. You will find it difficult to look away as they swim.
A pattern is used to draw the outline of the fish segments. They are then cut and then formed by hand, and soldered. The segments then have a chemical patina applied. The finished pieces are assembled and using brass fishing swivels 100 pound test salt water fishing line and brass rods, the perfectly balanced mobile is created.

I love the whimsical copper mobile. It was originally for the screen outdoor patio but condo association does not allow nails or screws in the walls or ceiling. So I tried a planter filled with river rocks but it didn't stay upright with fishing rod and line. Fortunately, I had second option for the guest bedroom which I used the sofa table and old recycled metal closet rack to brace the artwork Salmon Copper Mobile with fishing rod and line. It worked and looks good there.
