Tracy Arrington

Tracy Arrington Studios

"Art, in any form, is a very personal statement. A piece of handcrafted jewelry should speak to you, light up your eyes, and give you confidence in your own special beauty."

Tracy Arrington's jewelry is contemporary, easy to wear, and versatile. She designs necklaces, earrings, and bracelets with parts that dangle and swing, possessing great overall movement. Many pieces contain lustrous pearls, adding an organic component and softening the look of the metal, or faceted gemstones in interesting shapes and cuts. Although she looks to current fashion and color trends for inspiration, her jewelry is designed to have timeless appeal.

The primary metals Arrington works with are sterling silver and 14K gold-fill. Often, the sterling silver is triple plated in 24K gold or black rhodium. 14K gold-fill consists of a thick layer of 14K gold (one-twentieth of the total weight) bonded to an inner core of a base metal, providing the look and feel of 14K gold at a more affordable price.

After earning a BA, Arrington spent twelve years as a buyer and merchandiser in the gift, home decor, and education fields. In 2008, she decided to follow her passion: she started designing and creating beautiful jewelry. She received formal bench training and continues to study under many talented goldsmiths across the country.
