Janet Blake

Janet Blake Jewelry

"I believe that jewelry is more than an accessory. A one-of-a-kind, handcrafted piece represents your unique self and helps to tell the story of who you are."

Janet Blake of Quiet Rebel Design combines contrasting elements to create jewelry pieces that are modern, organic, and fresh.

In Blake's designs, stunning, hand-selected gemstones are nestled in settings of silver and gold. Square edges mingle with gentle curves. Symmetry is balanced with disorder. Traditional methods are combined with continual experimentation and improvisation, resulting in jewelry pieces that are as unique as the individuals who wear them.

Janet Blake is a self-taught jeweler with a lifetime of experience in the creative arts. Trained as a classical cellist, she balances technical precision with personal evolution. Her knowledge of the graphic arts brings a sensibility to design elements like color, clean lines, and negative space. What these have in common with jewelry making is her singular passion for creating with her hands.
