About Artful Home

Made in the USA and Canada

The artists we represent work in small, independent studios in North America—not overseas, not in factories.

Direct from artists' studios

Each piece is individually created by an artist and shipped directly from his or her studio to your home.

Incredible selection

We offer over 18,000 original works of art in a juried and curated collection of exceptional quality.

30 years' experience

Launched as The Guild in 1985, Artful Home has been successfully connecting artists and art lovers for 30 years.

Your delight guaranteed

Our greatest pride is in your peace of mind. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, we will gladly take it back.

What We Do

Imagine surrounding yourself with works of art that truly move you or make you happy. At Artful Home, find your inspiration among thousands of works created by North American artists, a collection curated by a team of art world specialists.

Part gallery, part art fair, part online marketplace...Artful Home is all of these things and more. Shopping here is like shopping hundreds of galleries and boutiques across North America. Such breadth of high-quality art is nearly impossible to find anywhere else. And because every piece is shipped directly from the artist's studio, you'll also enjoy a personal connection with the maker of your artwork.

Artful Home helps artists get exposure and sell their work. Thanks to us, many artists are able to quit their day jobs or spend less time managing their businesses—and spend more time in their studios doing what they love.

Our Mission

Art is our passion. We are dedicated to offering the most exceptional and beautiful works of fine art, craft, and design for your home and wardrobe. We are equally committed to supporting the livelihoods of the celebrated North American artists who create this work.

How is it that an artist's hand is evident in what he or she makes? I don't know, but that magic, that spark that emanates from an object clearly created by a living person has a quality and a story that enriches our lives in untold ways.

Our Artists

Craftspeople. Designers. Artisans. Makers. Creators.
We call them all "Artists."

There are many names for the talented people who create the artwork we love. And it's no wonder: such a diverse and creative community is bound to have many ways to describe who they are and what they do. But the word "artist" is timeless. It's elegant. And it reflects the incredible creativity, talent, and effort that every maker puts into his or her work.

From painters and glassblowers to furniture makers and apparel designers, we represent a diverse range of more than 1,200 talented artists, all working in independent studios in the USA and Canada.

Art with a Story

Every work of art at Artful Home has a story to tell—the story of the artist who made it. Once you invite it into your home, it becomes a part of your life—and the story continues.

Art can be the painting over your couch or the sculpture in your garden. It can also be your coffee cup, your favorite dress, or your wedding ring. When these objects are handcrafted with care by talented North American artists, they are stunning to behold and a joy to use.

This is my second [piece by this artist] and I love this one as much as the first one I purchased. The design, colors, and quality are of the highest level. Once again, Artful Home delivered in a very timely manner and the packing and care of this piece was superb!

I placed my new mirror in the hall way. It is elegant and unique. I had a dinner party Friday night and all my friends wanted to know where this jewel came from. I was very proud to tell them.

I ordered this quiche pan as a Valentine's Day gift for my very practical husband. We were both very pleased with it—the packaging was very nice and giftable, and the quality of the pan itself is exquisite. I'm looking forward to using it, as I can tell that it is going to take delicious meals up an extra notch.

My new cairn graces a small shelf in my dining room, overlooking our happy family gatherings. I added a small definition painted next to it on the wall, explaining that cairns help travelers find their way forward...or home. It's both a beautiful and symbolic piece of art for me.

This sculpture is a beautiful addition to our home. It is elegant in its simplicity, beautifully handcrafted, and dynamic...I purchased this as a surprise birthday gift for my husband, a kinetic sculptor. It arrived within the time-frame promised and we are both very pleased with
it.

When people come to my house and see these highly unusual works of art, I always get positive comments, [and] later I see them going back more than once to look even closer. The uniqueness of these pieces cannot be overstated.
