Will Connor's photographs are about nature, beauty and the magical relationship between the camera lens and the human imagination. Nature and light are the raw materials of his photographs, which are then shaped into a unique vision on film.

Connor uses a 4" x 5" view camera with color transparency film to capture an image in natural light. He scans the film to a high-resolution digital file that he then edits with Adobe Photoshop. He prints the resulting image, which is true to what he saw in the field, with archival pigment inks on acid-free fiber-based paper. The prints are luminous with brilliant color and remain very sharp at any size. They have an estimated archival stability of 70 years.
