Shaped by hand while hot, this magnificent blown glass vase reveals fluid layerings of coloration within. Green aventurine, sterling silver leaf, white canework. The lip is lusciously thick, angle cut, and polished. Signed underneath.

Randi Solin, a glass blower of twenty-fiveyears, brings a rich painterly effect to her glass creations. The dance between the fluidity of molten glass and the rigid form, upon cooling, is kept alive in her creations. Solin's work is a fusion of the American studio art glass movement and classic Venetian glassblowing.

Outstanding!
