Rococo Leaf
Black & White Photograph

This is an image of a shriveled leaf of the common landscape plant, the hosta. It had been hit by frost and dried and in the process, it took on a shape that reminds one of the flora sculpted by artists of the Baroque "Rococo" period in the 18th century.
The print was made on matte surface fine art paper and was printed on a professional Epson printer with archival pigment inks which have a fade resistance of over 300 years. Limited edition of five plus two artist's proofs. Titled and numbered on the lower left and signed and dated on the lower right in pencil.
