A lamp that projects its own unique personality with a large red, blown glass base; rectangular bell shade covered in golden dupioni and embroidered with cream, red, green, and pink floral design. Double bulb socket. Beaded pulls and finial. Uses two 60-watt maximum bulbs (40-watt bulbs included).

Susan Kinzig and Caryn Kinzig

''Traditional lighting with a twist-as we design each lamp our goal is to create beautiful and distinctive lighting that will endure the test of time."

After seven years as a graphic designer, Susan Kinzig began a career as a jewelry designer. Fifteen years later, her knowledge of jewelry design and metalworking had grown extensively, and she decided to expand her creative outlook to include lighting design. Caryn Kinzig, Susan's sister-in-law, had spent 20 years in an investment career when she decided to leave the corporate world and follow her creative passion. Susan and Caryn teamed up to form Kinzig Design Home.

Susan and Caryn work together to create each of their lamps. They incorporate proprietary elements with vibrant glass ( blown by two glass studios) and solid brass and copper accents. The lampshades are deeply colored and sewn from embroidered silks and rich fabrics. The lamps are individually finished with patinated metals and surface textures that will not fade or discolor, and are topped with distinctive finials.

I now own a family treasure
The Frida lamp is an heirloom that I'm sure my sons will be vying to obtain now and later when I am gone. It is beautifully handmade and displays perfectly on a corner fireplace in my great room. I knew the colors were going to be close to my decorating but my friends believe I had it made special. I am very pleased.

Way To Go!!! (Again!)
This is my third lamp from the Kinzig ladies. Once again, their attention to detail is simply wonderful. I purchased "Frieda" as a desk lamp for my newly remodeled office. She adds a gorgeous warmth and glow to the room.

Beautiful
The Kinzig lamps are all strikingly beautiful and very well made. I already own two of them, I love them that much. The colors seem to be true to the pictures on my computer. These lamps are a design statement in the house, not just simple lamps.
