The Maze Box is the latest style in the Mod Box series. Available in Red Koto and Maple. These boxes can be hung in a variety of grid patterns to create an interesting design on any wall and provide for excellent storage. Installation is a snap with two equally spaced keyhole slots on the back. Cabinets are sold individually. Image depicts an arrangement of five.

About this Artist

Kevin Irvin

"My goal as a furniture designer and maker is to always push the boundaries of surface and design with the objects that I produce."

Kevin Irvin spent the early part of his career as a wood sculptor, incorporating various utilitarian and architectonic forms into his work. He made the transition to furniture in the mid 1990's, and has always maintained a sculptural feel to the work he produces.

Irvin often covers drawer fronts, table tops, and furniture legs with literally hundreds of overlapping shaped veneers to produce an almost skin-like quality. This attention to surface design provides for an interesting visual experience and a tactile one, as well.

Kevin Irvin began his training under the tutelage of John McNaughton at the University of Southern Indiana. He received his MFA from Arizona State University in 1985. Irvin has maintained a studio in Phoenix for over twenty years.

Just love it
In general, we are very happy with the purchase. The only concern we had was that we were hoping to have one of the three boxes next to our printer to store paper inside. However the measures were external and the internal dimensions could not store paper. Regardless, we would still recommend the product.

Lovely storage solution!
Impeccable craftsmanship, gorgeous pop of color, flexible design that allows them to be configured many different ways. The Maze Boxes are a favorite of mine and a great solution as both a surface for display and to hide some objects away. I just love them!
