EunYoung Choi
Baubou
"I create jewelry that is both playful and sophisticated, with a focus on detail-oriented designs that share a fluidity in form with exquisite details and uncompromised craftsmanship."
In EunYoung Choi's current collections, you’ll find accents of the inspirations and influences from the past year and a half of her life—textile patterns, the elegant designs of nature, as well as animation.
EunYoung creates her jewelry in her New York studio, where she oversees all aspects of production, including stone setting and casting. She has a traditional background in jewelry-making but is always exploring new techniques and technologies to enhance her creative process. For instance, she has recently incorporated 3D software and rendering skills into her work.
EunYoung has been involved in the fashion and jewelry industries for over 20 years. She began her fashion career in South Korea, her home country, and later pursued Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing at the Rhode Island School of Design. With over 15 years of experience, she has worked at various jewelry design companies, honing her skills and expertise in the field.
