Dale Rogers
"I want to create thought provoking work that is sophisticated, easily recognized, and will serve as a mental postcard."
While Dale's true love for art lies in the clean simple lines of abstract geometrics, he has over the years introduced iconic and whimsical designs that allow an emotional connection to be formed with viewers. This emotional connection transforms the artwork into a personal experience that conjures memories and emotions and elevates the art to something the viewer wants to keep.
Each sculpture is originally designed, laser cut, TIG welded, and hand finished. The two constant mediums he uses are 316L Stainless Steel and Cor Ten Steel. He has recently incorporated fused glass to offer some sexiness and an added pop of color to the artwork.
Dale's love for art started very young, but he never believed it would lead to a practical career choice, so his schooling focused on business and marketing. Welding was something that was self taught for practical purposes on his family's farm, but his passion for creativity took over, and he began sculpting artwork and hasn't stopped since that time.
