Geri Brown

Geri Brown Photography

"Photography is my second language. When I cannot find the words to express the beauty and joy around me, I am able to do so through my photographic images. "

Geri Brown has a need to capture what she sees in the camera and present it in a unique way. The passion to create photographic images is always with her, and she is drawn to objects and scenes by something calling within her.

Using a digital camera and many different lenses, Brown is able to find beauty in objects where others do not even look. Her images are brought to life with the use of stunning colors, tones, shapes, and texture. She uses only the highest quality archival materials to create her giclee prints.

Geri Brown received her photographic training at City College of San Francisco, San Francisco State University, and the University of California in traditional darkroom techniques. She switched to digital imaging in 1993 and since then, has studied with many fine art photographers.
