Manzanita Glassworks

"I enjoy the immediacy of working with molten glass, I learn something new every time I am in the studio."

Dave uses traditional and contemporary glassblowing techniques to create decorative and utilitarian blown glass objects. His aim is to create objects that display a harmonious balance of form, pattern, and color.

Dave received a BFA in Glass from California State University, Chico, and supplemented his education through various workshops at the Appalachian Craft Center in Tennessee, the Corning Museum of Glass in New York, the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Maine, and the Pilchuck Glass School in Washington.
