Sarah Greenberg

Sarah Swell Jewelry

"I think of jewelry as miniature works of art and I aim to create interesting yet highly wearable pieces with details that beg for a closer look."

Sarah creates hand-hewn precious metal treasures rooted in craftsmanship. She draws inspiration from the natural world and ancient jewelry to create work that reflects an organic yet refined sensibility. You'll often notice subtle marks of the maker left behind on her work, which she views as a celebration of the handmade.

A variety of ancient techniques, including lost wax casting and hand fabrication, are seamlessly combined to create Sarah's body of work. Recycled 14k and 18k gold, sterling silver, and carefully sourced non-traditional diamonds and sapphires are incorporated to create heirloom quality pieces while being mindful of our impact on the Earth.

A lifelong artist, Sarah originally attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston to pursue painting. A fateful pivot led her to fall in love with metalwork and move to the West Coast to study at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts. Sarah has spent the time since honing her craft and launching her collection to the world from her Bay Area, CA based studio.
