Queen of the Night
Acrylic Painting
Created by
Anne Nye
"Queen of the Night" is Nye's rendition of a variety of night-blooming cacti which lives in her back yard.
Although Anne Nye is most often known for her glass work, her first love has always been painting. Here she returns to her artistic roots in a joyful celebration of color, light, and organic form. Hundreds of hours go into each composition, which is made up of many layers of color. On gallery-wrapped canvas with the image wrapping around the sides. This technique eliminates the need for framing and allows the painting to flow, enhancing the view from every angle. Paintings are finished with a protective UV sealant, signed on the back, and ready to hang with a traditional gallery wire. Easy drywall hanger is included.
