When creating this energetic acrylic painting, artist Carole Guthrie had no specific vision in mind. She let her myriad tools—including brushes, palette knives, and scrapers—act as her guide, scraping away some areas and leaving others to create a dimensional effect, and adding colors until she feels a balance and unity of theme.
