Painter Amy Longcope uses mediums and gels to build layers and textures of color; each of her works is a mystical journey guided by an artistic alchemy of curiosity, intuition, discipline, and spontaneity. The end result is a vibrant abstract image, dripping with color and emotion. This expressive work was created in oil pastel, acrylic gels and polymers, as well as numerous glazes and washes.
