Iridescent Stringer Series - Aquamarine
Art Glass Bowl
Created by Gregg Mesmer and Diane Bonciolini
Named for the striking black glass strings that run abstractly through each piece, this bowl is fused in a kiln firing. The thickness of the glass strings creates random air bubbles where they intersect making each piece strikingly unique. The color you see here is aquamarine with a subtle iridescent surface. The distinctive 'cut-off' edge, an official trademark, results from incorporating the inherent unevenness of the raw glass and has become our visual signature. Meant to be used and enjoyed this bowl is food & dishwasher safe, not safe for microwave use. Signed, dated & numbered.
